Alix Bréchet
Alix is an attorney at the Paris Bar. He has more than ten years of experience in real estate taxation, covering all aspects of the field. He regularly acts for both French and international clients in connection with the tax aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence and structuring. His practice also encompasses the taxation of investment funds and other real estate vehicles. Furthermore, Alix advises individuals on private wealth taxation, notably with respect to real estate wealth tax, rental income, and real estate capital gains. He has also developed specific expertise in real estate tax matters, such as the taxation of real estate leasing agreements, the application of the Quemener case law, and the tax regime applicable to property dealer transactions.
Alix graduated from the University of Rennes (Master 2 in Business Tax Law) and from the Paris Bar School (EFB), where he obtained the Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession. He has worked in several prominent French and international law firms, notably within the Financial Services department of PwC Société d’Avocats.
In 2016, Alix was distinguished as the winner of the Young Tax Professional of the Year, a national tax competition organized by EY Société d’Avocats.
